Meet Lampix, the first hardware and software solution that turns any surface into a smart, augmented reality [or interactive] surface. On the right you can see our beta product, which contains a projector, camera and cloud-connected computer. On the left is an example of Lampix augmenting a piece of paper.
Computer Vision and Machine Learning
Lampix uses basic hardware compared to existing technologies while still enabling the same applications and many more. It is based on recent advances in computer vision and machine learning. The Lampix platform is designed with a simple graphic interface that takes care of the entire process from training, object recognition to content creation.
What is Lampix and how does it work?
Collaboration on a piece of paper
Lampix is pleased to announce that its developer kit + the first publicly available image miner is now available for purchase with PIX tokens. The company’s project is one of the very few where utility tokens are tied to a physical product.
After winning last year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) Accelerator Pitch contest, we returned to SXSW this year to showcase Lampix in a combination of standing and pendant-style hanging lamps in Austin. For the festival, we created four new demos to showcase in the “Projection Room” after taking over the Floppy Disk Repair Co. During our three-day, invite-only activation, never-before-seen apps impressed industry leaders and pioneers, including Metaverse author Charlie Fink. Watch our wrap-up video here.
