Today, Lampix, a developer of tabletop augmented reality hardware and software, is excited to announce that its PIX token will be listed on Swap.Online, a multi-cryptocurrency wallet that works directly through browsers. Users are not required to download anything, the entire transaction occurs on Swap.Online
The main feature of the Swap.Online wallet is its built-in P2P exchange which atomic swap technology, allowing users to exchange cryptocurrencies between different blockchains and set their own exchange rate (e.g. Bitcoin and Ethereum) without the involvement of a third party. Users don’t send money to the exchange, but directly to each other: wallet to wallet. Traders’ money and private keys are never stored – all the exchange processes are performed inside the browser.

This collaboration is a result of a workshop in which the companies discussed the capabilities and potential applications of Lampix technology.

Lampix is pleased to announce that its developer kit + the first publicly available image miner is now available for purchase with PIX tokens. The company’s project is one of the very few where utility tokens are tied to a physical product.
After winning last year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) Accelerator Pitch contest, we returned to SXSW this year to showcase Lampix in a combination of standing and pendant-style hanging lamps in Austin. For the festival, we created four new demos to showcase in the “Projection Room” after taking over the Floppy Disk Repair Co.
